Dale Klevgard

Dale Lee Klevgard passed away on July 5, 2018 surrounded by his family and loved ones at Mayo Health Systems Luther Hospital, Eau Claire, WI. Dale was born in Mondovi, WI on March 18, 1948 to Leslie and Delores Klevgard.
He graduated from Eleva-Strum Central in 1966 and began farming on the family farm in Chimney Rock. Dale married the love of his life and high school sweetheart Sandra Moltzau on April 3, 1971 at Emmanual Lutheran Church in Strum, WI.
Dale fiercely loved his family and treasured any time he spent with his six grandchildren. He especially loved being part of his grandchildren’s activities and could often be found along the racecourse, soccer, baseball or softball fields and basketball and volleyball courts. He enjoyed teaching them to fish, drive the pontoon and find mischief.
He is survived by his loving wife Sandy of 47 years; his daughters, Anna (Scott) Treague of Danbury, WI and Greta (Nicolas) Blancarte of Ashland, WI; his grandchildren Adin, Elizabeth and Eleonore Treague and Dylan, Tristan and Lilliana Blancarte; his sisters Linda (Bob) Gregerson of Prior Lake, MN, Pat (Dan) Jankee of Chippewa Falls, WI, Roxie (Jarvis) Holstad and Lori (Dan) Gullicksrud of Strum, WI; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Delores Klevgard; his brother Gene Klevgard; his sister-in-law, Edna Klevgard; and his niece, Cindy Gregerson.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at First Lutheran Church, 10680 Main Street in Hayward, where visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until the hour of the service. Pastor Joel Bacon will officiate.
A committal service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Chimney Rock Lutheran Cemetery, 8 miles south of Eleva, WI.
