Dale M. Schwoch

Dale M. Schwoch, 80, of Strum, WI, passed way Saturday, August 19, 2017, at his home surrounded by those who loved him.
He was born September 14, 1936 to Earl and Florence (Bean) Schwoch in Eau Claire, WI. Dale was raised in Eau Claire and was a graduate of Eau Claire Memorial High School. 
He was united in marriage to Helen Baier at Central Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls.  She preceded him in death on August 28, 1998.
Dale worked for Uniroyal before going to work for the International AFL-CIO as a union executive.
He enjoyed hunting, fast cars, stock car racing, playing crosswords, coin and gun collections, and raising exotic animals on his home farm.
Dale is survived by his children, Anthoney and Steve Schwoch both of Strum, and Kathleen Schwoch of Eleva, WI; 10 grandchildren, Angela, Christine, Leela, Kyle, Hallie, Samantha, Matthew, Phoenix, Cody, and Kiya; 9 great grandchildren; step-son, Edward M. Schwoch of Cresswell, OR; brother, Warren (Judith) Schwoch of Eau Claire; sister, Kathleen (Charles) Wiese of Eau Claire; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; son, Matthew; parents, Earl and Florence.
There will be no services per Dale’s request. “He weren’t fancy in his livin’, so he aint fancy in his rest.”
Schiefelbein Funeral Home of Osseo, WI, is assisting the family with arrangements.
