Eugene Schwoch

Eugene O. Schwoch, “Pork”, 54, of rural Augusta, passed away from a sudden illness on Saturday July 14, 2018, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, with his loving family by his side.
Eugene Otto Schwoch, son of Dean and Virginia (Pettis) Schwoch was born Nov. 23, 1963 in Eau Claire. He was raised in rural Augusta and attended Fall Creek Elementary and High School. As a child he was baptized and confirmed at the United Methodist Church in Augusta.
Over the years Eugene had farmed with his family, worked for Dale Randall Livestock, Fairchild Township, County Concrete, and also doing carpentry work with his cousin Ron “Sam” Pettis. At the present time he was working with Tradesman International of Eau Claire. Eugene enjoyed hunting, especially coon hunting with his Pettis family and cutting wood. He cut wood for himself and was always willing to give 100 percent during the local “wood cutting bees” to provide wood for others that needed it at that time.
Eugene will be dearly missed by his 3 daughters, Kimberly Schwoch of Osseo, Kureka Schwoch (Derrick June) of Humbird, Korisa Schwoch of Augusta; 2 sons, Eugene Jr. (Kristy) Schwoch of Blair, Cody Schwoch (Tasha) of Altoona; parents, Dean and Virginia Schwoch of Augusta; 2 brothers, Ferland (Letty) Schwoch of Randolph, MN, Tim (Michelle) Schwoch of Mosinee; 2 sisters, Wendy (Wayne) Jennings of Osseo, Sharon Schwoch (Chris Moss) of Lake Hallie; 14 grandchildren, Taten, William, Izzabella, Bentley, Jocelyn, Dominic, Autum, Jazmin, Chawntel, Jackson, Levi, Lexy, Emma and Jamison; uncles and aunts, Lee and Betty Pettis of Osseo, Lorena Ginther, Ellie and Marj Pettis, Marcella Pettis, Beverly Pettis all of Augusta; Linda and Ed Harmon of Austin, MN, Harriet and Daryl Dehnke of Eau Claire, Dale and Arlie Schwoch of Osseo, Harvey and Pat Schwoch of Augusta, Wilma and Erv Berg, Bob Ricter all of Amery, Bill and Ursula Roepke of Richfield, MN; many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Otto and Martha Schwoch, Ivan and Vada Pettis.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Augusta, with burial at a later date in the Scott’s Valley Cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta, and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
