Jarvis Holstad

Jarvis Michael Holstad, 66, of Strum, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2018 at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire.
Jarvis was born October 24, 1951 in Eau Claire, to John and Pearl (Larson) Holstad. He graduated from Eleva-Strum High School in 1969.
He was employed at Cascade Tissue for 38 years before retiring due to ill health. On April 19, 1975, he married Roxie Klevgard at Chimney Rock Lutheran Church. Jarvis enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and golfing. He loved his grandbabies and his beagles.
Jarvis is survived by his wife Roxie of 43 years; his children, Heidi (Todd) Severson of Rochester Minn., Ryan (Jill) Holstad of Bloomer and Heather (James) Hensley of Whitehall; nine grandbabies, Matthew, Avery, Conner, Tiffany, Daytona, Kaine, Olivia, Devin and Lauren; sister, Linda (Dale) Franson of Strum; brother, Patrick (Tracy) Holstad of Strum; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jarvis was preceded in death by his parents, John and Pearl Holstad; mother and father-in-law, Leslie and Deloris Klevgard; sister-in-law, Pam Holstad.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Strum, with Rev. Paul Tobiason officiating. Burial will be St. Paul’s Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday..
