Leona Pickett

Leona Doreen “Sue” Pickett, 61, of Osseo, died Thursday, March 23, 2017 at her home under the care of St. Joseph’s Hospice and her loving companion Tim Freidhoff.
Leona was born June 19, 1955 in Chicago, IL to Glen and Agnus (Reed) Pickett.
Leona moved from St. Petersburg, FL to the Osseo area in 2006.
Leona loved to paint, listen to music and dance.
Leona is survived by her longtime companion, Tim Freidhoff; children, Glen, Pete, Krystal, Diane and Heather; 10 grandchildren and special cousins, Marlene (Dan) Gurney, Darlene Preston, Robert Olson. She is further survived by her cats, whom she adored, Sunshine and Munchkin.
Leona was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Agnus.
Memorial services were held at 11:00 am, Monday, March 27, 2017 at Osseo Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Osseo, with Rev. Terry Lorenz officiating. Burial following the service was in Osseo Cemetery.
Friends called from 10:00 – 11:00 am, Monday at the church.
Schiefelbein Funeral Home in Osseo assisted the family.
