Michael Ruppelt
Michael E. Ruppelt, 69, formerly of Cornell, WI. passed away peacefully on July 8th, 2017 at Dove Healthcare West, Eau Claire, WI with his family at his side.
Michael was born to Arthur A. Ruppelt and Lorraine (Pederson) Ruppelt on January 29th, 1948. Michael grew up in Osseo and Augusta Area. Michael attended High School in Osseo and graduated from Augusta High School in 1966. After High School Michael joined the Airforce and was medically discharged due to his health. Michael married Bonnie Erdman. With Bonnie he was blessed with two boys and a girl. Bradley (Andre’) Coleman, David Ruppelt, Debra Ruppelt. Bonnie and Michael divorced. Michael married La Vonne Watson of Cornell, WI on November 24th, 1972. Michael and La Vonne were married for 42 years until La Vonne’s passing. On July 11th, 2015 Michael married Marilyn Saule of Greenwood, WI area. Michael enjoyed going to auctions, hunting, fishing and working with the Amish Community. Michael and La Vonne also like working at the small carnivals operating the cheese curd and lemonade stands during the summer.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn, sons Bradley (Andre’) Coleman, David Ruppelt, 4 grandchildren Devon, Tamara, Nathaniel, Natasha, mother Lorraine Hansen, stepfather Del Hansen, sisters Linda (Larry) Cox of Goose Creek, SC, Laura (Gerald) Herrick of Augusta, WI, Brother Ronald (Wanda) Ruppelt of Merkel, TX, and Sister Sharon (Dennis) Nelson of Eau Claire, WI, along with many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Michael was preceded in death by his daughter Debra Ruppelt, father Arthur Ruppelt, grandparents Herman and Stella Ruppelt, Lawrence and Josephine Pederson and wife La Vonne Ruppelt.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Leiser Funeral Home 511 N. Main St. Cadott, WI. Internment will follow the services at the Brooklawn Cemetery Cadott, WI.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 AM Saturday at the Funeral Home.
