Heaven has gained an amazing angel.
William “Bill” John Nelson, 67, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Bill was born April 8, 1950 in Eau Claire to Robert and Grace (Gregerson) Nelson.
He married Sheila Lien on May 31, 2014 in Osseo.
Bill is survived by his wife Sheila of Osseo; sister Natalie (Craig) Dick of Aurora, NE; daughter Jacelle (Nathan) Nelson of Eleva; sons Brent Nelson of Sandwich, IL, James (Nicole) Zamora of Augusta, Esidro Zamora of Hibbing, MN and Bert Zamora of Osseo; 15 grandchildren and four great grandchildren and man’s best friend, Banjo.
Bill was a loving son, husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa, cousin and friend.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Grace.
Bill loved to read, woodworking, all types of sports and being with his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Osseo Evangelical Lutheran Church in Osseo. Rev. Terry Lorenz and Rev. Richard Hoyme will be officiating.
Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services on at the church Tuesday.
