Clara “Connie” Davidson

Clara “Connie” Davidson, age 85, of Strum, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at the Clearwater Care Center in Eau Claire, WI.
She was born on March 6, 1932 in Durand, WI a daughter of the late Roy and DeLinda (Taylor) Rathbun.
Connie attended Nelson High School in Nelson, WI.
Connie was united in marriage to the love of her life, Arlan “Arnie” Davidson, Sr. Arnie preceded Connie in death on February 23, 2010
Connie was employed at Pepin Nursing Home ran by her mother and step father, Harry Halling. She also worked as a cook at various restaurants in the area and volunteered her time with several different organizations.
Connie was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Strum, WI. She was also a life member of the VFW Auxiliary. Connie will be remembered for her humane heart for animals, especially her dogs.
Connie is survived by her children, Allen (Donna) Halling, of Buffalo City, Bill Ledford of Waupun, Tony (Judee) Ledford of Meridian, ID; Step children, Arlan (Diane) Davidson, Jr. of Strum and Jeff Davidson of Arcadia; 8 grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren; half-sister, Sherry along with nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents and her loving husband Arnie, Connie was preceded in death by, step father, Harry Halling; 2 children, Debbie Rogers Fredrich and Phil Rogers; step son, Mike Davidson; granddaughter, Wendy Hageness; 3 brothers, Bill, Jim and Bob Rathbun.
A memorial gathering was held on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 4:00 PM until the time of service at 6:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Strum, with Pastor Lowell Bolstad officiating.
