Freda M. Anderson

Freda M. Anderson, age 67 of Pepin, died Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at the Plum City Care Center in Plum City with her family by her side.
Freda was born on July 7, 1959 in Durand. She was the daughter of Bernard F. and Joyce P. (Hubbard) Keeler. Freda grew up in Arkansaw and graduated from Arkansaw High School in 1977. Freda worked at various places in the Durand, Pepin and Nelson areas. Her favorite job was at the Pepin Marina in Pepin. Freda married the love of her life, David Anderson on July 3, 1982 at the Plum City United Methodist Church in Plum City. After marriage, they made their home in Plum City and later in Pepin where she remained the rest of her life.
Freda enjoyed doing word searches and traveling with her husband to South Dakota and Arkansas. She took a special trip to North Carolina with Patty to see their friend Robin. Most of all, Freda loved spending time with family and friends.
Freda is survived by her siblings, Belinda Anderson of Fountain City, Alan Keeler of Nelson, Christine (John) Halling of Nelson, Debra (Craig) Barnes of Wabasha, MN, Elwyn Keeler of Arkansaw, Gordon (Bonnie) Keeler of Whitehall, Wanda (David) Makis of Menomonie, Robert (Anita) Keeler of Menomonie, siblings-in-law, Rose (Joe) Myers of Woodville, Darlene (Larry) Mercer of Arkansaw, Joyce Zeilinger of Plum City, Ron (Diane) Anderson of Plum City, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Joyce Keeler, husband, David Anderson and brothers-in-law, Robert Anderson, Daniel Anderson and Michael Zeilinger.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Marshfield Cancer Center, Plum City Care Center and St. Croix Hospice for their loving care of Freda.
A Memorial Service will be held 12:00PM Noon, Sunday, August 23rd at the Pepin United Methodist Church in Pepin. A Celebration of Life will follow immediately after at the church.
