Gerald “Bub” Ervin Anderson (73) of Zephyrhills, FL, died Monday, June 5, 2017 at his home. He was born February 23, 1944 in Durand, WI; son of Arnold and Ilene (Schrader) Anderson.
He graduated from Arkansaw High School. After school he served in the United States Air Force where he was stationed in the Detroit, MI area. He married Sharon Brinck and together they had two children. They later divorced.
Following his service with the military, he purchased the “Hollywood Ranch” in Marine City, MI. In 1993 he moved to Zephyrhills, FL where he was a hay jockey. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved horses and his dog “Blue”
He is survived by his children, Jeff (Shannon) Anderson of Sterling Heights, MI and Deana (Ricky) Edwards of Harrison Township, MI; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; father, Arnold Anderson (Luann Wood) of Arkansaw, WI; brothers, Randy (Karen) Anderson of English, IN, Dean “Chappie” Anderson of Arkansaw, WI, Perry “Pete” (Connie) Anderson of Arkansaw, WI; sister, Trudy Waatti of Eau Claire, WI; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Ilene and brother-in-law, Russell Waatti.
