Henry Burrack

Henry Burrack, 93, died on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND with his loving family at his side.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 6, 2017 at Nazareth Lutheran Church, rural Trail, MN with Rev. Jeffery Merseth officiating. Burial will follow at Nazareth Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Monday at Nazareth Lutheran Church.
Henry LeRoy Burrack was born January 15, 1924 at home in Fayette County Iowa, the 4th son of Etta (Kray) and George Burrack. He was baptized,confirmed and married at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Strawberry Point, Iowa and attended country school and high school at Strawberry Point.
On July 10, 1943 he married his high school sweetheart, the love of his life, Betty Elaine Moine. To this union they had 5 Children.
Throughout Henry’s life, he farmed in Iowa, Wisconsin and finally Minnesota. Henry enjoyed singing, whether it be in church, at events, and even while doing chores. Henry was blessed with the ability to talk, entertaining family and friends with a multitude of stories. He amazed everyone with his uncanny ability to remember events and people in great detail.
Henry gave his grandchildren many wonderful memories, was a role model and friend and will truly be missed by all.
Henry loved God, his wife Betty and family with his whole heart and was proud of his children.
Henry is survived by five children: Dennis Ray Burrack of Fayetteville AR, Linda Lou Goderstad of Hot Springs Village, AR, Lonny LeRoy Burrack of Trail, MN, Deanna Dell (friend Randy) Stromme  of Perham, MN, Lori Renee (friend Frank) Ulwelling of Durand, WI; 14 grandchildren: Troy Goderstad, Denise Bell, Wade Burrack, Stacy Niemi, Craig Burrack, Sally Askelson, Nick Stromme, Paula Grismer, Lucas Henry Stromme, Faith Ulwelling, Rebekah Ulwelling, Jacob Ulwelling, Ben Ulwelling, Lydia Ulwelling; 25 Great Grandchildren: Tyler Blaser, Jake and Cole Niemi, Jessi, Henry, Dusty and Calli Burrack, William,Isaac, and Ford Burrack, Nicholas Therrell, Andrew and Ryan Goderstad, Austin, Anna and Aiden Askelson, Cora, Nahla, Avaeh and Kya Grismer, Vera Ulwelling, Mavis and Malcolm Ulwelling, Etta and Henry Ulwelling.
Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Elaine, his parents Etta and George Burrack, 3 brothers, Edwin, Clifford and Donnie Burrack, 1 sister, Eileen Klingman, 1 daughter in law Linda Jean Burrack and 1 son in law, Scott Goderstad.
