Linda (Gifford) Bechel

Linda (Gifford) Bechel, age 69, of Plum City met her savior on June 4, 2015, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. She was born October 30, 1945 in Plum City WI to Agnes (Hotter) and James Gifford. She was the youngest of seven children. Linda married Harold (Butch) Bechel on June 24, 1967 at the Elmwood Methodist Church. She was a devoted mother to her four boys.
Linda is survived by her husband of 47 years, Butch; four children Jeff (Carrie) of Plum City, David (Lisa) of Plum City, Greg (Carmen) of Maiden Rock, Steven (Brianne) of Maiden Rock; eight grandchildren Chris, Ryan, Joey, Hailey, Timothy, Samantha, Cameron, and Taylor. Linda is also survived by four brothers, James (Clara) of Durand, Dave (Betty) of Plum City, Dewayne of Eau Claire, and Ken of Plum City; one sister, Sharon (Ken) of Elmwood; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Pat Krogstad; and by two sisters-in-law, Shirley Gifford and DelMae Gifford.
A celebration of life will be held June 15, 2015, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Molly’s on Main in Plum City, WI.
