Mildred Soden Moser Schucht
Mildred Soden Moser Schucht, age 97, of the Onalaska Care Center, formerly of Tomah, passed away March 27, 2016. Mildred was born in Durand WI on August 11th, 1918 to George & Hazel ( Cowell ) Soden. She graduated in 1936 from Durand High School. On December 31st, 1943 she married Darold Moser, who preceded her in death on March 26, 1973. She had two children, James and Mary Ann Moser. She married Forrest (Bud) Schucht on October 18th, 1975. Millie worked several years at the Tomah Public Library and was a member of the Tomah Writers Group with several years of published stories in the Tomah paper.
Millie is survived by her children, Jim (Cherie) Moser and Mary Ann (Steve) Pierce; grandsons, Allen (Susan) Moser, Jacob Pierce (Symone Sine), granddaughters, Maggie Pierce (Jordan Hanson); three great-granddaughters, Marissa, Megan and Sadie Moser; sisters, Alice Girard and Mabel Holmes, and brother George (Jane) Soden.
Millie was preceded in death by her parents, infant brothers, a sister Marion Smith, several brothers-in-law and her first husband Darold Moser.
According to Millie’s wishes, no services will be held. Memorials may be given to the Onalaska Care Center Auxiliary.
