Norma Mae King

Norma Mae King (93) of Durand, WI died Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the American Lutheran Home in Mondovi. She was born December 31, 1924 in Arkansaw, WI; daughter of Paul and Minnie (Oberding) Lampman.
On June 30, 1947 she married Leo King in Durand. Leo died June 11, 2002.Norma was bookkeeper for E & S Auto Supply for 17 years. Following her retirement she volunteered at the nursing home in Durand. She served as President and Vice president of the American Legion Auxiliary; she was a Girl Scout leader and was a member of the Ladies aide at the Community of Christ Church.
Norma loved to watch football, she also had a love for Siamese cats, but mostly she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Kim) Grotjahn of Buffalo City, WI and Vicky (Kurt) Martell of New Prague, MN; grandchildren, Jon Grotjahn, Allison (Scott) Cowley, Callie (Rich) Podraza, Bryce Martell; step-granddaughter, Ashley Grotjahn ( Adam Loewenhagen); great-grandchildren, Ryane, Ian and Sophia Cowley, Gryffan Martell, Sullivan and Josephine Podraza, Trinity Loewenhagen; sister, Myrle Supri; nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo; daughter, Jody Sue; grandson, Dustin Grotjahn; sister, Wanda Abbott and brother, Paul Lampman Jr.
Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 15, 2018 at the Community of Christ Church in Arkansaw with Glenn and Rose Peterson officiating. Burial was at Forest Hill Cemetery in Durand. Friends called Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 2:00 until 5:00 pm at Goodrich Funeral Home in Durand and one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.
