Thomas “Tom” Weiss Sr.

Thomas “Tom” Weiss Sr., 82, of Eau Claire, formerly a longtime resident of Durand, died suddenly on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Marshfield Medical Center – Weston.
Tom was born in Mondovi, WI on September 1, 1943, a son of the late Sigfried and Louise (Pichler) Weiss. He attended area schools and graduated from Mondovi High School. Tom married Judy (Fedie) on August 1, 1964, and they soon after moved to Durand where they raised four children.
Tom worked for Durand Implement, now called Tractor Central of Durand. He was a sales manager for over 40 years. Tom was a long-standing member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church-Lima where he sang in the choir. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, softball, hunting, gator rides and traveling. He will be sadly missed.
Tom is survived by his wife, Judy, of nearly 62 years, his children: Jodi (Kevin) Golisch, Tom, Sr. (Laurie) Weiss, Kristi (Ricky) Quasius and Nikki (Troy) Bautch; grandchildren: Luke (Jessica) Golisch, Hope Golisch, Ryan (Kayla) Golisch, Abigail Weiss, Autumn, Elwood and Joey Bautch, Madison Weiss and Jaden Bautch; great-grandchildren: Nora, Isla, Ruby, Finn, Jameson, Rayla, Whitley, Morgan and Maley. Tom also leaves many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother, and his siblings: Awald Weiss, Rosina Brand, Eileen Butler, Laura Berger, Bill, Roland and Sig Weiss.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Tom on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 11 AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church-Lima, Durand. Memorial visitation will be in church one hour prior. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
