Timothy “Tim” Scott Eversman

Timothy “Tim” Scott Eversman, age 61, of Hinckley, Minnesota and formerly of Zumbro Falls, Minnesota, passed away at M Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center – East Bank in Minneapolis on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, after suffering a heart attack.
Timothy was born in Wabasha, Minnesota on September 4, 1964, the son of Tom and Bonnie (Wheeler) Eversman.
Tim attended school in Plainview and was a graduate of Plainview-Elgin-Millville High School in 1983. He enlisted in the US Air Force and served his country from 1983 – 1987 and was stationed in Utah and Colorado. During his enlistment, Tim continued his education in communications. Upon his honorable discharge he returned home and worked at Lakeside Foods in Plainview and met his future wife, Dorie Krier. The couple were married in 2000, in Wabasha, and spent 38 years together. They lived in Zumbro Falls and raised a family. Tim worked at PPI of Cannon Falls during this time and was a volunteer fire fighter for Zumbro Falls Fire Department and Rescue from 1991 – 2004. Tim currently worked in electrical maintenance in plastics profile.
Tim was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church – West Albany in rural Millville, Minnesota. He love to shoot firearms, hunt and following his valve replacement he valued his health and found a passion for running. He was a wonderful husband who deeply loved his children and grandchildren.
Tim is survived by his wife Dorie of Hinckley; his children, Brittany Eversman of Plainview, Michael Eversman of Hinckley, and Patrick (Jasmine) Eversman of Sartell, MN. He is further survived by six loving grandchildren, Emily, Landon, Lucy, Chloe, Madison, and Cooper; his stepmom, Penny Eversman of Plainview and mother-in-law, Rosy Krier of Millville; three siblings, Tommy (Lori) Eversman of Rushford, Tony (Shelly) Eversman and Tayna Eversman both of Plainview.
He was preceded in death by his mom Bonnie Eversman in 1997, his son Carter in 2004, his father Tom Eversman in 2016, and his father-in-law, Darrel “Dean” Krier in 2017.
The funeral service for Tim will be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel. The burial will follow the service beside his son Carter in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in West Albany with full military rites preformed by the Plainview American Legion Post #179.
Friends and family may visit from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Plainview Chapel on Thursday, July 30.
