Manolo De Angel Solá

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Manuel “Manolo” De Angel Solá, who passed away unexpectedly on July 12, 2026, at the age of 52.
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on September 24, 1973, Manolo later made Wabasha, Minnesota, his home, where he built a life centered on family, friendship, service, and community.
A Certified Public Accountant by profession, Manolo was also a proud member of the Wabasha Fire Department, serving his community with dedication and compassion. He was known for his generous heart, unwavering kindness, and remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued. Whether spending time on the water, golfing, playing pickleball, or enjoying the sport of the season, Manolo embraced life with enthusiasm and brought joy to those around him. He was respected and loved by everyone who knew him.
Above all, Manolo was a devoted father to “Nani”, “Lito,” and “Ile” who were the greatest joy of his life. He also shared a loving relationship with his novia, Abby, and embraced her children, Jax, Jorgia, and Zeke, as part of his family.
He is survived by his loving mother, Clarisa Solá; his siblings, Clarisa, Pedro, Sandra, Juan Pablo, and David; his children, Alana, Manuel, and Ileana and their mother Heidi; his novia, Abby, and her children, Jax, Jorgia, and Zeke; his nieces and nephews, Clarisabel, Alejandra, Pedro, Gabriela, Fernando, Dariel, Ian, Victoria, Adrian, Catalina, David, Mario, Tommy, Christina, Allie, Ben, Trevor and Eva; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Manolo’s kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family and friends will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched.
Visitation was from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, July 20, 2026, at St. Felix Catholic Church, Wabasha.
Funeral Mass was 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at St. Felix Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be directed to the Wabasha Fire Department.
