BOMB SCARE FORCES EVACUATION OF COVIDIEN

Police, firefighters and Covidien officials approach the complex with a bomb-sniffing dog for a second sweep of the building Thursday.

Wabasha Police Sgt. Randy Waggoner (facing camera, left) discusses the bomb search strategy with a Rochester police officer and other policemen and firefighters at the scene.

West 6th Street was blocked off as police and fire officials set up a command center just outside the Covidien complex in the background.

City Administrator Chad Springer monitors the situation as Covidien employees leave the company's parking lot onto Grant Boulevard, which has been barricaded to incoming traffic.
