Board presents award

WABASHA—Minn. Longtime County Highway Department employee Dave Ward was presented with a Life-Saving Award by Sheriff Rodney Bartsh at the January 16th meeting of the Wabasha County Board.
The award was presented for Ward’s action that likely saved the life of a Wabasha man whose car had gone off the road on a biter cold December night in a remote area of the county west of Kellogg.
All Commissioners were present, along with County Administrator Michael Plante. There were also some people at the meeting who had come for the presentation.
