Strum Village Board holds two recent meetings
STRUM - The Strum Village Board held recent meetings on May11 and June 1 at the Strum Civic Center.
A special meeting of the Board took place on June 1 to approve the contract for Oium Blacktop grating and paving Robbe Ct and the bid amount.
During the May 11 meeting, the Board approved a resolution to get the community involved in choosing a design and also the purchase of village banners. The Board also approved the Official Intent Resolution
for the village's online policies.
There many discussion items during this meeting, including the possible sale of the Viking Recreation Area, ownership of the village's sewer system, the 2025 village audit, a new open burning ordinance, new ordinance for E-scooters and Electric bikes, acquiring another, handicapped accessible porta potty for Woodland Park, and possible new pavilion at Woodland Park.
