Ann L. Fiedler

 Ann Lee (Nichols) Fiedler, 75, of Wabasha, Minnesota died peacefully surrounded by her family and friends Tuesday, June 2, 2015 joining her mother, Palma (Johnson) Nichols, father, Lyle Nichols, brother, John, and sister, Mary (Nichols) Kulas in heaven. Born in LaCrosse, WI, she lived her childhood in Trempealeau, WI and met husband, Bill Fiedler, at the Trempealeau County Fair. Married on July 12, 1958 at age 18, the initial years of their marriage were spent in Arizona and Georgia while Bill was in the military service. They moved to Wabasha in 1964 where they have resided ever since.
 Ann worked in the Wabasha community at the Anchor Inn, Anthony’s (Roots) clothing store, and she owned and operated Main Street Clothing in downtown Wabasha. Most recently, she retired from the Wabasha Motor Vehicle office. She was one of the early members of Faith Lutheran Church.
 Together Ann and Bill raised five wonderful children of whom they were and are enormously proud: David (Kim) and their children, Teegan (Sarah), Hannah, Danaca, Kyrie, Torian and Haakon, from Chicago, IL, Dennis (Joyce) and their children, Jake, Grace and Eleanor from Minnetonka, MN, Danaca (Don) Carr and their children, Josh (Lindsey), Kelsey and Anna from Wabasha, MN, Dean (Tammy) and their children, Brady and Makenzie from Lake City, MN, and Denae (Dan) Juntunen and their children, Allie and Nick from Sartell, MN.
 What brought Ann the most joy was spending time with her family, playing cards with friends and even making an occasional donation to the casino. She had a quick wit (and tongue) and will always be remembered as someone who was incredibly kind and made everyone feel at home.
 Ann never wanted attention or worry over her and true to form she chose to have a small gathering to celebrate her life and the legacy she leaves behind.
