Anthony ‘Tony’ Sharpe, 78, formerly of Kellogg

 Anthony “Tony” Sharpe, 78, of Northfield, MN and formerly of Kellogg, MN, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at Northfield Hospital Long Term Care.
 Anthony Henry was born January 28, 1940, in Chatfield, MN to Joseph and Harriette (LaPlante) Sharpe. He moved with his family to Kellogg in 1946. He graduated from St. Felix High School, Wabasha, MN, in 1958. On August 11, 1962, he married Loretta Tentis.
 Tony farmed until 1991, when they moved to Northfield, MN, where he was employed as a race car mechanic and a hardware store clerk. He enjoyed cars, golf, playing cards, and Door County, WI vacations.
 He is survived by his wife Loretta; son Brian, Pemberton, MN; daughter Lisa (Craig) Stewart, Phoenix, AZ; four grandchildren: Brooke, Connor, Keegan of Phoenix, AZ and Brennan of Pemberton, MN; and many nieces and nephews.
 He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Philip; sisters: Mary Hildebrand, Lorraine Severson, Ann Buol, and Alice Hager.
 Visitation was 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, October 22, 2018, at Abbott Funeral Home in Wabasha, MN and beginning at 10 a.m. at the church on Tuesday.
 Mass of Christian Burial was at 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Kellogg, with Rev. Gregory Parrott officiating. Interment was at St. Agnes Cemetery, Kellogg.
