Bereith D. ‘Bee’ Loechler, 91, formerly of Wabasha
Bereith D. ‘Bee’ Loechler, age 91, of Crystal, formerly of Wabasha, died Saturday, July 14, 2018 at St. Elizabeth’s Health Care Center in Wabasha. She was born August 27, 1926 in Kellogg, the daughter of Frank and Florence (Hitchcock) Yarolimek. Bee graduated salutatorian of the Wabasha High School Class of 1944. She then joined the Cadet Nurses Corps and received her nurses training at Abbott Hospital in Minneapolis. She worked as a registered nurse in the obstetrics department of Abbott and later Abbott Northwestern Hospital for many years and then later worked as head of nursing at Northridge Health and Rehab in New Hope. She married Vincent Loechler June 26, 1948 in Wabasha.
Bee was an active member of Faith-Lilac Way Lutheran Church in Robbinsdale. She enjoyed golfing, reading, crafts and in their earlier years the couple enjoyed roller-skating and dancing.
She is survived by children and spouses, Mike and Laurie Loechler, Boca Raton, FL, LeAnne and Matthew Marx, Wabasha, MN, Steve and Theresa Loechler, Plymouth, MN; seven grandchildren, Tim (Mollie) and Brian Loechler, Katie (Michael) Barrissi, Natalie (Nick) Koegl, Morgan Marx, Andy Loechler, and Allison (Joey) Mossberg; four great-grandchildren, Lizzy, Nicholas, Becca and Vinny; brothers and sister-in-law, Joseph and Janet Yarolimek, Eau Claire, WI, Don Yarolimek, Wabasha, MN; cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vince, who died November 6, 2009. Bee was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. The family is at peace knowing that she has been reunited with her dear husband in their eternal home.
A memorial service was held on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 11:00am at Faith-Lilac Way Lutheran Church, 5530 42nd Ave. N., Robbinsdale, MN 55422. Officiating was Pastor Pamela Stalheim Lane. Interment was at St. Felix Cemetery in Wabasha. Visitation was at the church on Friday one hour before the service. The Abbott Funeral Home & Crematory was in charge of arrangements. www.abbottfh.com
