Carol Ann (Reecher) Allen

Carol Ann (Reecher) Allen, 86, of Dumfries, MN, passed away at home peacefully on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.Carol was born on November 26, 1939, in Sterling, IL, to Marian (Reed) and Clarence Reecher. She graduated from Rock Falls High School in Rock Falls, IL in 1957, before going on to receive her Beauticians Degree from the Sterling School of Beauty Culture.She married William Allen on September 11, 1960, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sterling, IL.She loved to cook, volunteer at Faith Lutheran Church, attending to her plants and flowers, taking trips to see her great grandchildren and rooting for her beloved Vikings. She was a faithful and active member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Wabasha. She worked for many years at Unipatch in Wabasha. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, husband (Bill); grandson William Casie Allen; brother Duane Reecher; and sister Nancy (George) Rassmussen. She is survived by her children: Barry (Robin) and Lisa; grandchildren: Breanna Shores (Dakota), Lukas Kaminsky and Sam Fancher; great-grandchildren: Aiden, Jackson, Charlie, Nakona and Fowler; sister Mary (Jerry) Donegan; sister-in-law Nikki (Dick) Nance; brother-in-law A. Jack (Sheila) Allen; and many nieces and nephews.There will be a Celebration of Life at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Faith Lutheran Church, Wabasha. Her remains will be cremated.
