Cindi Loretz

Cynthia L. Loretz (Cindi), age 65, of Wabasha, Minnesota, died peacefully at home on Monday, July 13, 2026. Cindi was born August 23, 1960 in Hudson, Wisconsin, with her beloved twin brother Bradley. Though Bradley passed away at the age of 5, he remained a cherished part of her life’s story.
She was a 1979 graduate of Wabasha-Kellogg High School. She then furthered her education at the College of St. Theresa in Winona and graduated in 1983.
Throughout her life, Cindi worked as an elementary school teacher at St. Felix, at the Wabasha Pharmacy and the Super Valu grocery store. She also found great joy in caring for her nephew, whom she lovingly babysat and adored.
Cindi found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. She loved crafting, journaling and cheering on her favorite Minnesota sports teams. A devoted fan of the Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Lynx and Minnesota Timberwolves, she rarely missed a game and faithfully followed each season.
She was a loving and devoted aunt to her nieces and nephews, creating countless treasured memories with them. Cindi especially cherished the trips she shared with her sister, Tammy, and her nieces and nephews, making each adventure a special time filled with laughter, love and lasting memories.
Cindi is survived by her parents, Duane (Duke) and Jean Loretz of Wabasha; her brothers Mike (Jane) Loretz and Jon Loretz; nieces and nephews Matthew (Arely) Loretz, Michelle
(Matt) Anderson, Logan Loretz, Ian, Ivan and Isaiah Loretz and great-niece Charley Miller.
She is preceded in death by her brother Bradley and her sister Tammy.
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Felix Catholic Church, Wabasha, Minnesota. Visitation will begin one hour prior at the church. Interment will be at a later date at St. Felix Catholic Church cemetery.
