Daniel L. Schurhammer

Daniel L. Schurhammer, 65 of Wabasha, passed away Friday, December 16, 2022, at Gundersen – St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Wabasha.
Daniel Lee was born January 1, 1957, in Wabasha to Richard and Sally (Eggenberger) Schurhammer. He graduated from Wabasha-Kellogg High School in 1975. After graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Marines and was honorably discharged after completing his duty. Daniel supported both Ducks Unlimited and Pheasants Forever as he greatly enjoyed hunting.
He is survived by his mother Sally Schurhammer; siblings: Denise (Tom) Wagner; Kara (Jon) Kohner; Dana Schurhammer; Sarah (Dave)Bronner; John Schurhammer; Shelley (Denny Wilson) Thurber; and Heidi (Tony) Johnson; aunts, Yvonne Baird and Mary Lou Schuth; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Richard Schurhammer and a brother David Schurhammer.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
