Douglas Ray Marcou

 Douglas Ray Marcou Sr., age 84, of Hudson, WI, formerly of Afton, MN passed away on January 10, 2015.
 Doug was born on June 22, 1930 in Wabasha, MN to Henry and Grace (Hughes) Marcou. He graduated from Wabasha High School in 1948, and following his graduation, enlisted in the United States Army.
 In 1953, he was united in marriage to Mary Therese Graner at the Catholic Church in Kellogg, MN. Their marriage was blessed with one son, Doug.
 Doug was general manager and harbor master for Minnetonka Boat Works Marina in Afton, MN. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. He loved doing antique boat restoration projects and following Minnesota sports teams. He was also a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus.
 Doug is survived by his son, Doug (Sheila Williams) Marcou of Colfax, WI; sisters, Midge (Ray) Vierregge of Camano Island, WA, and Mildred Johnson of Bothell, WA; and his nieces and nephews.
 He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary; his parents; sister, Marion Gosse; and brothers: Howard, Kenneth, and Everett.
 Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1500 Vine St., Hudson with a visitation one hour prior to the Mass at church. Interment will be at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the family.
