Evelyn Fries Milward, 95

The mother of Walt Fries, Evelyn Fries Milward, 95, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at St. Elizabeth’s Health Care Center in Wabasha. Originally from Kenosha, WI, she and her husband, Jack Milward, moved to Rhinelander, WI in 1985.
Evelyn was a delightfully engaging woman who put a smile on the face of everyone she met! She had an incredible zest for life that was totally contagious!
Evelyn is survived by her sons, Walt (Jean) Fries, Wabasha, MN, and Chuck (Kay Kunze) Fries, Omaha, NE. and her daughter, Mary (Doug) Monte, Eagle River, WI, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Milward.
A celebration of the life of this wonderfully warm, wise, feisty woman was held in Rhinelander.
