Florence Marie Schjolberg, 75, Wabasha

Florence M. Schjolberg, 75, passed away on August 10, at St. Elizabeth’s Healthcare Center in Wabasha, MN.
Florence Marie Schjolberg was born May 12, 1942, in Minneapolis, to Fritz and Grayce (Petrie) Schjolberg . She attended schools in Minneapolis and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1961. She worked at Donaldson’s Department Store and Carson Pirie Scott from 1959 to 1991 and then at Walker Methodist Healthcare Center from 1991 until 2005, when she retired after a diagnosis of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Florence is survived by brothers James (Nancy) of Kirkwood, Missouri, Fred (Dianne) of Wabasha., MN, and sister Kathryn Mahoney of Grand Forks, ND. She also is survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and one aunt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law Michael Mahoney, and nephew Martin Schjolberg.
The funeral service will be held at Living Spirit United Methodist Church, 4501 Bloomington Ave. S., Minneapolis, on Friday, August 18 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapel, Minneapolis, is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials are preferred to St. Elizabeth’s Healthcare Center, Wabasha, or the Wabasha Public Library children’s room expansion.
