Geraldine “Geri” M. Wolfe, 89 of Wabasha passed away Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Emplify - Gundersen Health Care Center, Wabasha. Geri was born on May 10, 1937, in Nelson, Wisconsin to Edna (Thoeny) and Ben Larson. She graduated from Wabasha High School in 1955. She married Harold Wolfe on November 16, 1957, at St. Felix Church in Wabasha, MN and enjoyed a loving 68 years of marriage together. Together they raised 3 boys: Bruce, Brian, and John. Immediately following high school, Geri started what would be a 46-year career at the Wabasha Clinic. Geri had fond memories of working with the founders of the Wabasha Clinic, Dr. Ochsner and Dr. Bouquet and had many great friendships with the Doctors, Administrators, and co-workers through her long career there. Geri resided at the Health Care Center for the past 13 years and was appreciative of the excellent care from the doctors, nurses, aids, and all the staff during her time there. Geri Wolfe Geri loved to read, do word search puzzles, play bingo, crochet, embroider, and spending time with her many special friendships. Her number 1 priority was her family. She was always present and involved in her children and later in her grandchildren’s lives. She loved to attend there many school and sporting events and was a constant presence in their lives. Geri had a twinkling smile waiting for anyone she met. Geri is survived by her husband of 68 years Harold; sons: Bruce (Bonnie), Brian (Sue), John (Sandy); 8 grandchildren, Brandon; Aaron (Erica); Tyson; Christopher (Alicia); Andrew (Shelby); Zachary (Sierra); Jordan (Joe) Glomski; Ryan; 11 great grandchildren and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Gladys, and brother Glenn. Memorials are preferred to St. Elizabeth’s Community Foundation or St. Felix School. Funeral Mass was 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 4, 2026, at St. Felix Catholic Church, Wabasha, with Rev. Tom Loomis officiating. Interment was at St. Felix Cemetery, Wabasha. Visitation was 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Abbott Funeral Home, Wabasha and began at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church. A prayer service was at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
