Jean M. Johnson, 78, formerly of Wabasha

Jean M. Johnson, 78 of Alma, WI and formerly of Wabasha, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at the Pepin Health & Rehab, Pepin, WI.
Jean Marie was born June 1, 1940, in Wabasha, MN to Nick and Vera (Olson) Roth. She graduated from St. Felix High School. She married Jerome E. Johnson and he preceded her in death. She also married Rob Rieck and they later divorced.
She was formerly employed at Pepin Manor as a CNA and retired from Unipatch, Wabasha, after many years of employment. Jean and Jerome enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings together. Jean and Bob made homemade deer sausage and venison and Jean enjoyed bingo, playing cards, and brain teaser puzzles.
She is survived by her two sons: Mitchell Johnson and Robert Johnson; three siblings: Gerald (Patricia) Roth, Yvonne (Michael) McDonald, and Mary Ann Roth; and many nieces and nephews.
 She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerome, and three brothers: James, Larry, and Robert Roth.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m., Thursday, January 10, 2019, at St. Felix Catholic Church, Wabasha, with Rev. Fr. Gregory Parrott officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. at the church on Thursday.
