November 9: The St. Elizabeth’s Auxiliary Annual Holiday Bazaar & Belgian Waffle Breakfast, silent auction, bake & candy sale, kid’s games, bingo & many raffles 8-11:30 am at St. Felix Auditorium. 

November 10: The American Legion Unit 546 will meet at St. Agnes Parish Hall at 1 pm.

November 12: The Kellogg Birthday Club will meet at Beth’s Cafe in Nelson at 11:30 for lunch.

Saturday Louise Johnson, Patty Arnold & Kelly Theuner attended the Lutefisk dinner at Lyster Lutheran Church in Nelson, Wisconsin.  Sunday evening Shorty & Louise were among some friends enjoying supper at the home of Deloris Sheehan.

Thursday Hermie & Carol Gander went on the bus trip to see “Life Could Be A Dream “ at the Old Log Theatre in Excelsior, MN.  Saturday evening they attended the potluck supper block party for 12th Street residents hosted by Our Redeemer Lutheran Church members. Sunday night they were among the guests of Deloris Sheehan for supper.

Allidah Luff of Nelson stayed overnight the 25th with Grandma Marlyne Schouweiler, Monday night Marlyne accompanied the Luffs to the Alma Jr High Band Concert where Maci played the flute. Sunday visitors of Marlyne were her sister Lucille Ajer, Missy & Christopher of Cottage Grove & Sherri Luff, Maci & Allidah.

Thursday Romaine & Joyce Miller attended the retirement party for their son Romaine Jr at Bowl a City Entertainment Center in Rochester from 3:30-6:30 hosted by John Benike & his wife Mary Benike of Benike Builders. Attending were Jr & Micki’s three sons: Matthew of Rochester, Brent a student at the University of Minnesota & Aaron at Winona State, his sisters Mary Bortke of Crystal, Cindy Maghrak of Minneapolis, Jeannine Tulip of Pepin, Wisconsin, brothers John & Diane Miller, Cooks Valley, Dennis Miller of Prescott, Wisconsin, Micki’s brother Steve & Becky Nelson of Minneiska & many fellow workers. Jr was presented with a gift for his 30 years of service without a sick day. Pizza & beverages were served throughout the party time.

Frank & Rita Norton & Dennis & Kay Breuer were Saturday dinner guests of Bob & Nancy Vaplon for a fish fry at their home in Wabasha.

Shirley Huth enjoyed lunch at Yahooligans on Thursday with a group from St. Elizabeth’s Nursing Home & Apartments.

Saturday visitors of Maxine Vogt were her son Jim & Renee Vogt of Eagan & her daughter Diane & John Rivers of Wabasha. Sunday morning Maxine attended church services at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Plainview & the social afterward in honor of their retiring Pastor Scott Hirrsig who will be moving to Manitowoc, Wisconsin.

Garret & Eve Pavelka spent a couple days after school with grandparents Kenny & Jean.  Stopping Friday evening were Kevin Pavelka & Monica of Lake City, Mark Pavelka, Garret & Eve, Sand Prairie. Sunday afternoon Kenny & Jean visited her sister Ruth Zabel.

Donny & Theresa Schreiber & McKenzie, Plainview & Stephanie of Roseville hosted a pizza party Saturday night at their home in Plainview for the 7th birthday of their granddaughter Adyson, daughter of Jeff & Michelle Nielsen. Also attending were her great-grandparents LaVerne & Dorothy Boyd of Plainview & Don & Marge Schreiber, Kellogg.

Visitors of Mary Wolf during the week were Alice (Tentis) Aho of Coon Rapids, Mitch & Kim Wolf of Elgin, Ryan, Brynn & Christian Tentis, Karen Siem, Jacob Stamschror, Plainview, Terri Eide of Wabasha & Cody Wolf. Rick Wolf has been a patient at Methodist Hospital since Wednesday.

Wednesday night Elijah Breuer visited his grandmother Mary Lou Schouweiler. Thursday Mary Lou stopped to see Dennis & Kay Breuer. Thursday evening supper guests of Mary Lou were Bob & Jolene Binner & their grandchildren Trinity & Tucker. Sunday 12 of Mary Lou’s family members went to eat at MA’s Cafe in Plainview & were joined by 6 more to see the play “Don’t Hug Me We’re Married” at the Jon Hassler Theater.

Tuesday visitors of Mary Wolf were Steve & Annie Wolf. Wednesday Mary accompanied daughter Pat Therneau to Wabasha & Paul Wolf stopped. Thursday Leo Miller made his weekly visit to his sister Mary. Friday Annie Wolf visited & Saturday Lyn Wolf & Heidi stopped. Sunday gathering for lunch before a big hayride with Seth & Tracie were Dave & Lin Heddlesten, Jason & Teri Rediske, Madison & Elise, Tyler & Katelin, Mindy Scheel, Cole & Ava, Gary & Carol Wolf, Mitch & Trudy Balcome & Danica, Seth & Traci, Wolf, Ethan Wolf & April Theel, Mitch & Kim Wolf, Cody & Joe Wolf, Mark & Pat Therneau, Lukus & a friend, Ron & Lyn Wolf & John & friend, Garret & Heidi, Paul & Leann Wolf Jenna & Jaden, Steve & Annie Wolf, Courtney, Colton & Lexi, Tony & Jodi Wolf, Adam & Nicole.
