Lois P. Adams

 Lois P. Adams, age 85, of Wabasha, formerly of Rochester, died Sunday, July 12, 2015 at St. Elizabeth’s Health Care Center in Wabasha. She was born February 1, 1930 in Omaha, NE, the daughter of Russel and Pauline (Griffith) Cowles. She married Everett Adams in Plainview at the Community Presbyterian Church. He died June 21, 1988.
 Lois was a homemaker and they made their home in Rochester. She moved to Wabasha in 1990 and resided at the Maple Grove Apartments. She moved to the health care center in 2008. She was known at St. Elizabeth’s as the “Candy Lady”-sharing her candy that she received from her family with her fellow residents. She loved her children and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always enjoyed sightseeing trips with her family and spending time with them.
 Lois is survived by children, Barb (Charlie) Bertschinger, Winona, MN, Jeff Adams, San Jose, CA, Betty Marquette, Brenda (Bruce) Bale, Julie Deal, and Dan (Donna) Adams, all of Rochester, MN; 20 grandchildren and 35 and soon to be 36 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Adams, son, Wesley Adams and one great-grandson, Matthew Marquette.
 A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 10:00am at St. Elizabeth’s Health Care Center Chapel with Deacon James Weingart officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester. Casket bearers will be grandsons, Tyler and Tim Bale, Caleb, Brandon and Drew Adams and Michael Adams.
