Lyle Allen Bataglia

Lyle Allen Bataglia, 77 of Wabasha, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at Gundersen-Saint Elizabeth Hospital, Wabasha, MN.
Lyle was born August 18, 1943, in Winona, MN to Norbert and Myrtle Bataglia. He married Barbara Ann on November 14, 1966, and together they raised their three children: Lori, Lyle, and Lisa.
Lyle was a very proud member of the Local 317 Wisconsin Labor Union in Eau Claire, WI. He had been a member since he was 18 years old. He was self employed at P & B Construction. Lyle was an avid trapper, hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his children, Lori (Robert Glenn, Jr.) Carr, Stuttgart, Germany; Lyle N. (Konya) Bataglia, Plum City, WI; Lisa (Ronald) Werner, Menomonie, WI; eight grandchildren: Jessica Wayne, John A. (Syerrah) Wayne, Kayla (Alex) Szarke, Daniel Weghorn, Timothy Clark (Lexara Harmon), Brittany Bataglia, Alexus Bataglia and Luke Bataglia; and many great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; grandson, Michael Bataglia, and great grandson, Lyle Allen Bataglia II.
A private gathering will be held.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lyle N, Bataglia, Ronald Werner, Robert Glenn Carr, Jr., John A. Wayne, Daniel Weghorn, Timothy Clark, Jessica Wayne, Kayla Szarke, and Brittany Bataglia. The family prefers memorials.
