Mary Cynthia Doffing, 81, formerly of Wabasha

 Mary Cynthia Doffing, age 81, of Edina, formerly of Wabasha, died peacefully on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Aging Joyfully Residential Home in Eden Prairie. She was born June 25, 1934 in Wabasha, the daughter of Adolph and Cynthia (Evans) Doffing. She was a graduate of St. Felix High School in Wabasha and the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. She was a social worker and was employed for many years at the Radisson Hotel in Minneapolis as a night auditor.
 Mary had a great love for all animals, especially cats and she fostered several stray cats in her neighborhood. She had a generous heart and trusted everyone. Mary had a wonderful way of laughing at herself and she was a joy to be around. She was a beloved sister and aunt to her many siblings, nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all.
 Mary is survived by brothers and sister-in-law, John and Rose Doffing, Wabasha, Minnesota, Larry Doffing, Florida; sister, Jeanne Coats, Seattle, Washington; brother-in-law, David Kass, North Carolina; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Cynthia Doffing and her sister, Susan Kass.
 A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Felix Catholic Church in Wabasha with the Reverend Monsignor Thomas Cook officiating. Interment will be in St. Felix Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Saturday one hour before the Mass.
