Norman D. Wilde, 81, Cheyenne, WY

 A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd, at the Millville American Legion in Millville from 11:00 a.m. to 12 Noon. Burial will follow the service at the Millville Cemetery with Military Rites by the Millville American Legion Post #579. Following the burial a lunch will be served at the American Legion.
 Norman D. Wilde, 81, of Cheyenne, WY and formerly of Millville, died on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the VA Medical Center in Cheyenne.
 Norman Delano Wilde was born August 24, 1933 in West Albany Township, Wabasha County, to William and Ivanette (Sommers) Wilde. On May 12, 1955 he married Mary Stephans in McKinney, TX.
 Norman served in the Army Airborne and the Air Force serving in Iceland, Arabia, the Philippines and Viet Nam, from which he retired. Upon retirement, he was a Registered Nurse at the VA Medical Center for 16 years, retiring in 1999. He was a member of the CFD H.E.E.L.S, Illinois Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite Shrine, American Legion, VFW, and DAV. Norman also worked with the Disable American Veterans and was an avid outdoorsman.
 Norman is survived by his wife, Mary, and two sons, Glenn and Rex all of Cheyenne, WY; one daughter-in-law, Daniela; two brothers, Wilfred (Dorothy) of Lake City, and Leonard of Plainview; two sisters, Geri (Bert) Luhman of Lake City and Shirley (Bob) Overton of Rochester; two granddaughters, Bianca and Camryn and one great-granddaughter, Isabella, two great-grandsons, Landin and Barrott; mother-in-law, Ima (Willie) Schmidt; and three sister-in-laws, Beverly, Linda, and Katie.
 He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughters, Norma Jean and Jan Marie; one brother, Raymond and one sister, Vivian LaRocque. Brother-in-laws Art LaRocque, George Binder, sister-in-law Joyce; a granddaughter, Amber Marie; and a grandson, Hans; father-in-law Ray Stephans, and brother-in-law, Robbie.
 The family prefers memorials to the Cheyenne VA Chaplains Fund, and Millville Cemetery Association.
