Sylvester F. ‘Slim’ Schively, Aurora, Co.

Sylvester F. “Slim” Schively, Retired USAF, was peacefully called home August 3, 2018.
He was born November 21, 1929 in Altura, MN to Frederick and Margaret Schively. He worked as a mechanic until he joined the United States Air Force in 1951 where he proudly served his country for 21 years until he retired and settled in Aurora, CO in 1972.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Peshon), who he wed in January of 1953 and shared 65 great years of marriage. They shared their passion for bowling and made many wonderful friends.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his three loving children, Gary, Denise and Scott, grandchildren, great grandchildren, his brother, Ray Schively of Wabasha, MN, and sister-in-law, Charlotte Schively, Buffalo City, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Rosemary, and brothers Gerald, Frank and Francis.
