Jerry Wayne Wallentine

Jerry Wayne Wallentine 55 years of age of Lake City, MN unexpectantly passed away on 10/21/16. Jerry was born on 12/3/1960 at the Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL to Norma Lucille Rood and Theodore Wallentine. Jerry also had foster parents Vernon and Lorraine Wallin in Pepin WI.
Jerry graduated from Pepin High School. He was involved in sports and played the trumpet/coronet. Jerry joined the Army and was stationed in Germany where he learned some of his job skills such as a machinist. Jerry was recently employed as a level two technician in the gas and oil industry. Jerry had many friends over the years. He was characterized as being caring, friendly, responsible, hardworking, and had a sense of humor. He was known to play jokes- all which were in fun. Jerry was generally laid back but could be strong and assertive when needed. He loved his dogs or other animals and enjoyed fishing and camping. He had competed in fishing tourneys in the past.
Jerry is survived by his sisters Ann (Mondovi WI) and Cathy (Arkansaw WI) and their husbands Art and Mike respectively. His brother Dale and his fiancee Nita (Onalaska WI). His nephew Jeffrey (Mondovi) and niece Carrie (Eau Claire) . He has a great niece Brittany (Chippewa Falls) and great nephew Skyler (Pepin) and a great- great niece Avaeha. He is also survived by his foster siblings.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, foster parents, his sister Janet, and his brother David. Jerry was loved and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
