Patrice Joanne “Pat” Trainor

Patrice Joanne “Pat” Trainor, age 64 of Durand, died Friday, July 3, 2026 at her home in Durand.
Pat was born on September 12, 1961 at St. Benedict’s Hospital in Durand. She was the daughter of Charles and Lila (Knopps) Spindler. Pat grew up in Durand, attended Sacred Heart School in Lima and graduated from Durand High School. After High School Pat pursued a degree as a licensed practical nurse and worked at the Oak View Care Center in Durand until its closing in March of 2015. Pat married Tom Trainor on July 23, 1983. Together they had two children and later divorced. Pat then worked at the Plum City Care Center in Plum City until September of 2020 retiring due to her health.
Pat enjoyed going to a good fish fry, watching the Packers, Badgers and NASCAR.
Pat is survived by her children, Rachel (Derek) Radle of Elk Mound and Ryan of Durand, granddaughters, Poppy, River and Aspen Radle, siblings, Kris (Craig) Unser of Durand, Sue Greuel of Eau Claire, Rod (Missie) Spindler, Bob (Leah) Spindler, Michelle (Brad) Olsen, all of Durand, sister-in-law, Sandra Spindler of Durand, her beloved canine companion, Sony, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Michael and David Spindler and a sister in infancy, Mary.
Memorial Mass will be 11:00AM Monday, July 13, 2026 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church-Lima in Durand with Rev. Emmanuel Asamoah-Bekoe officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until the time of services on Monday.
