Osseo City Council tables decision on levy assessments until July meeting

OSSEO - The Osseo City Council tabled any levy assessment for the 5th St. project to July's meeting which will take place this Monday, July 11 at City Hall beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The council unanimously approved all retailer licenses for Class A and B for fermented malt beverages and intoxicating liquor along with the license for Darling's Gift along with all operator's licenses. They also approved unanimously all invoices for public works projects. The CMAR report was also unanimously approved as was updates to the city's operational manual and a resolution to discontinuing a portion of East St.

The Council unanimously approved a Plan Commission recommendation on the Oak Ridge Development property both Certified Survey Map (CSM) and Valley View Court, approved a change to city code on definitions and conditional use permits for garages and accessory buildings. They also agreed to a commission recommendation to deny a variance request for a privacy fence for Cindy Smith on 10th St.

The Council went into closed session on possible litigation the city would be involved in but took no action after coming out of closed session.
