Roger Paul Rieck

Roger Paul Rieck, 73 of Wabasha, passed away Monday, September 8, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.He was born on September 1, 1952, and he grew up in Kellogg, MN. He graduated from Wabasha High School in 1971. Roger worked for Valley Craft in Lake City for 48 years. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking, watching NASCAR, game shows and HGTV. His favorite was spending time surrounded by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Roger is survived by his wife of 42 years, Nancy Rieck; daughters: Sheila (Aaron) Mundt, Aleiah Rieck, and Emma Rieck; step-daughters: Tammy (Paul) Marcks and Ann (Scott) Risch; his pup Gracie and cat Chachi; grandchildren: Jason (Jessica) Lamey Jr., Bethany (Dan) Gunderson, Rachel (Ethan) Rybarczyk, Cassie (Rick Abramczak) Modjeski, Stephanie (Travis Hokanson) Halling, Rebecca Ennis, Caitlyn (Andrew) Hal-ling, Sophia (Tim) Beasley, Tina Winters, Tyler Winters, Amber (Ryan) Reidt and Jon Winters; 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; special nephew Jason Rieck and his family; sisters-in-law Barb Nerby and Sandy Glomski; and the many special friends he made throughout his life.He is preceded in death by his mother, Beulah Bennett; twin brother Robert Rieck; siblings: Harry, Bill, Lois, Wilma and June; niece Laura Pearson; sons-in-law Joseph Modjeski, Kirk Lembke and Greg Hal-ling; step-son Jerry Ray and sister-in-law Patrina PotterServices were Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Abbott Funeral Home, Wabasha, MN.
