Wabasha-Kellogg volleyball comes up short against Dover-Eyota

Falcons fall in three sets

WABASHA—The Wabasha-Kellogg volleyball team hosted Dover-Eyota on Tuesday, Sept. 22, but the Falcons were unable to come away with a win, falling to the Eagles in three sets.
Despite the loss, several WK players made notable contributions throughout the match.
Aleaya Becker, a junior hitter, recorded two aces and added five kills for the Falcons, while Piper Wobbe, a senior hitter, also finished with five kills and contributed four blocks at the net.
Addison Quade, setter for the falcons, helped guide the offense with 11 set assists, while Kylee Metcalf, libero, anchored the defensive effort with 15 digs.
