Beulah was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and later Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Strum. She loved her God and was active in the St. Paul’s ladies aide for many years. She is survived by her three daughters, Geraldine (Royal) Langert of Pensacola, Fla., Barbara Armstrong of Tracy, Calif., and June Kaye Shea of Strum; daughter-in-law, Pat Tollefson of Strum, Wis.; 11 grandchildren and their spouses, Hollie Hue, Mike, Rick and Buck Hollister, Gail Schultz, Debbie Kunka, Larry Langert, Tonya (Armstrong) Arledge, Stacey Moga, Chad Ulrich and Shandell Chiles; 26 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Galen A. Hollister; daughter, Nancy Hollister; three sons, Dennis, Romaine and Robert Hollister; parents, Charles and Merle Burnett; four siblings, Leora, Ethel, Muriel and Charles.
Special thanks to granddaughter, Gail (Joe) Schultz; granddaughter-in-law, Amy Ulrich; nieces, Dora Jean Blaha and Evie (Eddy) Branter; nephew, Torrie Lokken; and all of Beulah’s many other nieces and nephews. Also, a thank you to all of Mom’s dear friends from Strum. There are too many to name, but we will always hold them dear to our hearts; they know who they are! Finally, our heartfelt thanks go out to the staff at Strum Nursing Home and Assisted Living and the American Lutheran Home. Beulah didn’t quite make it to her 100th birthday, but did make it to 2018. What a run!
A memorial service will be held for Beulah later this year. Kjentvet-Smith Funeral Home, Mondovi is assisting the family with arrangements.
