Eleanor Larson

Eleanor Julia (Poeschl) Larson, 92, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019. Her last days were spent surrounded by family and the wonderful staff of The Neighbors of Dunn County.
Ellie was born on July 9, 1926, in Durand, Wis., to Ed and Julia Poeschl.
Ellie enjoyed cooking and made the best homemade pies! She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.
Ellie is survived by her sister, Jeanette (Werlein); countless cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends that will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Don; sister, Verna (Fansler).
A short visitation is planned from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19, with the service immediately following at 11 a.m. Visitation and the service will be held at the Olson Funeral Home, in Menomonie.
