Inez Becker

Inez Marie (Tolleson) Becker, 84, of Eleva, passed away early Friday morning, May 25, 2018, at American Lutheran Communities, in Mondovi, with her family by her side.
She was born to Lawrence and Laura (Emberson) Tolleson on Nov. 21,1933, as the youngest of nine children. Inez graduated from Eleva-Strum High School. She married the love of her life, Stanley Becker, at Eleva Lutheran Church on June 5, 1956. Inez passed away 10 days short of their 64th anniversary.
Inez was a lifetime member of Eleva Lutheran Church. Her faith was an important part of her life, where in her early years she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school. Inez’s life was dedicated to caring for her family. She enjoyed family time, baking, going to the lake, playing cards and going out to eat.
Inez is survived by her loving husband Stanley; two children, Jeff and Lynn (friend Greg); grandchildren, Derric (Sondra) Becker, Danielle (friend Jamie) Becker, Devin Becker, Kevin (Kelsey) Deetz and Katlyn (James) Weber; five great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Albert (Anne) Becker, David (Sonia) Becker; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Laura Tolleson; brothers, Arnold and Bill; sisters, Belva Johnson, Grace Myhers, Mabel Lind, Louise Ludwikoski, Alvina Hagen, Helen Call and their mates; four nephews and one niece; father and mother-in-la; brother and sister-in-law, Ken (Gail) Becker.
The family would like to thank all the caring people that came into Inez’s life the last year—you became her best caring friends of love. Our thanks to the staff of Heartland Hospice, American Lutheran Communities, Mondovi, Strum Area Health and Rehabilitation, and Sacred Heart Hospital. Thank you also to Pastor Castro, Mary Berg for the communion services, and Dr. Polus for her loving care over the years.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 1, at Eleva Lutheran Church with Pastor Bob Castro officiating. Burial will follow in Eleva Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church for one hour prior to the service. Kjentvet-Smith Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
