Margie Bollinger

Margie Ann Bollinger, 80, of Gilmanton, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019, at Dove Healthcare-West, in Eau Claire.
She was born on Aug. 31, 1938, in the Lima area, daughter of Henry and Lucy (Bauer) Prissel. She graduated from Racine High School.
On Sept. 12, 1959, Margie was united in marriage to Arde Orlen Bollinger, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in Mondovi. Together they raised four children.
Arde preceded Margie in death on Feb. 13, 2016.
Margie was a faithful member of Central Lutheran Church, whether in attendance or in spirit. Margie ran the family home and worked side by side with her husband to provide a loving and nurturing life for their family. She enjoyed baking and gardening and took pride in maintaining a tidy home. She and Arde loved dancing, especially dancing the jitterbug. Margie was a devoted mother and loved caring for her family.
Margie will be forever missed by her four children, Dean (Terri) of Menomonie, Lori (Bruce) Olson of Mondovi, Dale (Julie) of Eau Claire, Brian (Candi) of Mondovi; 10 grandchildren, Cheyann, Shauna and Lenny; Alisha (Grant) Lewis and Travis Olson; Cody (Hayley), Seth (Haily), and Brady Bollinger; Cierra and Bryce Bollinger; three great-grandchildren, Ellie Bollinger, Alivia Lewis and Beckett Bollinger; sister, Carol Carothers of Durand; sisters-in-law, Arleen Prissel and Doris Prissel, both of Mondovi; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arde; two brothers, Willard and Arnie; three sisters, Dorothy, Annabelle and Delores.
A funeral service will be held at Central Lutheran Church, Mondovi, on Saturday, March 9, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Rolf Morck officiating. Burial will follow in Gilmanton Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Talbot Family Funeral Homes, Mondovi Chapel, on Friday, March 8, from 4 to 7 p..m., and then again at the church one hour prior to the service.
