Mary Garland

Mary Elizabeth Garland, 69, passed away Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018, at the American Lutheran Communities, in Mondovi, Wis.
Mary was born Feb. 25, 1949, to Harold and Dorothy (Hanson) Garland, at Montreal, Mo. She lived most of her life in Maryland, before moving back to Wisconsin to be near family.
She is survived by two sons, Colin (April Brill) Kao and Ben (Tatjana Buhk) Kao; foster son, Jorge Mendoza; three sisters, Pat Brenn of Mondovi, Wis., Judy (Tom) Walsh of Hustler, Wis., and Alice Orsini of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; three brothers, John (Grace) Garland of Bemidji, Minn., Robert Garland of Clearbrook, Minn., and Dan (Gail) Garland of Shevlin, Minn.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, David Garland.
A celebration of her life will be held later in the spring in Bagley, Minn.
