Mondovi Buffaloes fall to SCC, Arcadia

On Monday, May 4, the Mondovi Buffaloes traveled to take on the Saint Croix Central Panthers. Neither team managed to put up any runs in the first two innings. During the top of the third, the Buffaloes  earned four runs. In the bottom of the inning, the Panthers contributed three runs of their own. During the fifth and six innings, Saint Croix Central managed to pull ahead, earning a run in each inning.  In the end, the Panthers took the victory, 6-4. 

Scoring the runs for the Buffaloes, each with one, was Austin Fedie, Clay Dzeikan, Blake Purdy and Lucas Glanschow. 

The Buffs then played at home the following day against Arcadia. It was a slow moving game for both teams, as Arcadia scored their first run in the third.  The Buffaloes couldn’t manage to earn any runs during the game. Arcadia sealed the win in the top of the seventh inning, earning two more runs. 

The Buffaloes then played against Colfax on Monday, May 11. Their next game will be on Friday, May 15, against Black River Falls at home.
